This is the RaptorDMA PCI Card. Unlike other DMA cards the RaptorDMA ship with a custom firmware that forces the BIOS to ignore the card so it doesn’t show up on the underlying operation system. You can also update the firmware with your own in order to for example imitate existing hardware. The PCI Card could also shows up as network, sound card or other – from any vendor you might want.
By accessing the physical memory of the host system through Direct Memory Access you can explore and analyze an operating system and its processes LIVE. This not only gives you unmatched control over the host system, you can also circumvent any software-based solutions that might prevent you from accessing processes or even kernel-memory. This is incredibly helpful when analyzing malware as you can ensure that the software is not aware of debuggers or forensic tools.
- Xilinx 7 Series FPGA
The Board is equipt with a XC7A35T Xilinx 7 FPGA. The chip provide the highest performance-per-watt fabric, transceiver line rates, DSP processing, and AMS integration.
- Fast USB 3.0 FT 601
The FT600/FT601 is a USB3.0 to FIFO-interface bridge chip that supports up to USB3.0 Super Speed with (5Gbps)
- PCILeech Compatible
The device is fully compatible with the open-source PCILeech Software. Through the Xilinx Vivado Software Suite you can easily flash the device with your own firmware.
- On-Board JTAG
The RaptorDMA board has an on-board JTAG so you can easily modify the device without complicated wiring.
One Of Best Value FPGA Boards On The Market
By removing unnecessary parts and features regular FPGA development boards offer which usually cost more than 1.000$ the RaptorDMA PCI Board was constructed in a cost-effective way.
How is this board any better than e.g. Screamer M.2?
The USB Ports don’t break when you plug in your cables. The JTAG is actually built on-board and with proper USB-Ports on the slot-bracket of the card you don’t have to unplug your card when you like to update your firmware. This card is built by professionals with quality in mind.
